Agnieszka Kosmecka (Polen) 

Agnieszka Kosmecka graduated from Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she studied organ with Professor Sławomir Kamiński. She was awarded a fellowship to study with Professor Bine Bryndorf at the Danish Royal Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. In 2016, she received the Kosciuszko Foundation fellowship and studied with Professor Matthias Maierhofer at The Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin (USA). Kosmecka has won numerous awards in organ competitions in her native Poland and in Europe. She was the first place winner in the International Organ Competition in Castellana Grotte (Italy). She received second place in the National Organ Competition in Olsztyn and third prize in the National Organ Competition „Romuald Sroczyński in memoriam” in Poznań. Kosmecka was also a finalist in the XXIst International Organ Competition in Rumia. As a concert organist, she performs in Poland, other European countries, and North America. In 2016, she completed doctoral studies in Organ Performance at Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music. She is the author of a scholarly thesis about organ fantasies written by Johann Peter Emilius Hartmann and August Freyer. She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Polish Literature at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Kosmecka has taken part in numerous organ masterclasses with artists, including Martin Schmeding, Matthias Maierhofer, Ludger Lohmann, Wolfgang Zerer, Arvid Gast, Franz Danksagmüller, Hans Fagius, Hans Davidsson, Bine Bryndorf and Isabelle Demers.
